The Roman Gladius is perhaps the most well-known piece of ancient weaponry. Its simple and long, double edge blade which had a long point, made it ideal when faced against the advancing armour of the time. Cold Steels interpretation is not a reproduction of a specific ancient Gladius, but is a collection of this venerable swords major features.
